Comments Thread For: Whyte: I've Changed A Lot, Improved Since First Chisora Fight

Dillian Whyte considers Dereck Chisora a lesser fighter than when they first fought two years ago. That's not the only disadvantage Chisora will have to overcome when they meet again Saturday night at O2 Arena in London. Whyte also feels he has gotten better since he edged Chisora by 12-round split decision in December 2016.

Im not sure how much whyte has improved. Browne was so out of shape it was ridiculous, he was ok aganst parker but parker didnt look like he wanted to be there and the helenious fight both of them were terrible. I think its been more his opponents have beaten themselves.

I’ve been consistent I’ve had hard fights I’ve had boring fights I’ve had exciting fights but I’ve been consistent..... whatever that means.I Can never question whyte’s heart but his balance is atrocious. He should still win. I don’t want to see him fight any of the top guys apart from Wilder because it would be super competitive until Wilder hits him with the Shawn Michaels sweet chin music and then its goodnight Whyte

I expect another life & death battle between these fighters.

I took it to mean consistent as in winning. I agree Lucas Browne was a massive disappointment but ive gotta admit, Whyte suprised me in beating Parker. He doesn't win in a crushing overwhelming way though does he. I reckon he'll be Razor Ruddock without the punch, not quite there but always hard work.

Lol.... Yeah I was surprised he beat Parker too but I was more disappointed in Parker if I’m being honest. Having said that the last round was the only time he took it to Whyte and he nearly got the job done

If the war torn Chisora can keep up it should be fun.

Respect to both guys because they take a risk while other guys are just waiting on Joshua payday.

Whyte isnīt wrong this time but to be fair the (accidental) headbutt vs Parker played a role, Helenius was out of shape as always and Browne is just a bouncer. Letīs see if Chisoraīs physical condition has improved as some say, this could still be another FOTY candidate. - Whyte vs Wilder would be awesome entertainment, both have the balance of a drunken sailor and throw wild punches.

If Whyte is a world class fighter like he and Matchroom say, then he should deal with Chisora like every other world class fighter did. I thought Chisora won the first fight but Whyte was still really domestic level then.

If Whyte today can't beat Chisora, he has absolutely no chance at troubling the better fighters in the division. He might've beaten Parker, but who had Parker ever beaten? a life and death fight with Ruiz?..i dunno.

Don't give me that Takam nonsense. Takam is no different to Chisora, it was a fight between two fighters that have fallen short at the top level every time. That's not a knock on Del Boy, i like him but he's shown now for about a decade that he can't cut it at the top level.

It's time for Whyte to prove he's a cut above the likes of Chisora, or just around that level.
