Comments Thread For: Jose Ramirez vs. Jose Zepeda Finalized For February 10

WBC super lightweight world champion Jose Ramirez, the pride of California's Central Valley, is returning home on a pair of missions. First, he aims to make the second defense of his world title against Jose "Chon" Zepeda on Sunday, Feb. 10 at his favorite fistic venue, the Save Mart Center in Fresno, Calif. He also hopes, along with the Central Valley community, to continue the fight against cancer

It’s good to see that the Zanfer stable is at ESPN. Zepeda is a good fighter and should be undefeated. This should be a good fight.

Great opponent, but damn I like Zepeda. Really impressed in his fight against the tough Carlos Diaz. A resilient fighter with punching power, good with the body but defense is so so. Hopefully he works on that. Nonetheless, this will be a dangerous fight for Ramirez. It's no surprise Arum chose to keep Ramirez fighting near his hometown again but kudos to Ramirez on being a part of a donation for the fight against cancer.

Ramirez ducked the WBSS to fight Terry's leftovers

                  Going to be a WAR!
I think Chon Zepeda can beat him with the right gameplan! Jose defense still not all that great even tho he is working on defense and more head movement with Robert Garcia. Very good fight though!
