    Golden Boy Promotions CEO Oscar De La Hoya is determined to stage an event in Mexico, with Canelo Alvarez headlining a card at Estadio Azteca in 2019. At the start of the year, De La Hoya plans to sit down with Mexican authorities and venue officials, for a possible December event.

    the falsehood of that happening is very high when you can make double the amount of revenue in las Vegas or anywhere in america..heck even the UK generates more than mexico in terms of boxing..viva mexico!

          I wouldn't mind seeing Canelo fight David Lemiux next December in Mexico as long as he fights Jacobs and another top opponent in May and September of next year,...

                    Right. I definitely prefer Canelo taking showcase fights in December rather than him sitting out that month completely.
