Comments Thread For: The Night Canelo and DAZN Took Over New York

By Corey Erdman - NEW YORK, NY-Walking up Seventh Avenue in Manhattan on Saturday night, Madison Square Garden glowed a bright red, green and yellow, blending in perfectly with the city's garland and holly-dripped Holiday paradise in the Garment District. From this article, it is easy to tell Corey Erdman makes tortillas with Oscar De La Hoya's heavily used bread roller

"There wasn’t any animosity towards Fielding amongst Canelo supporters, and in fact, as the underdog walked to the ring, fans sang “Sweet Caroline,” his entrance song, in unison."

Lol... That's because they knew it was a compete mismatch and felt sympathy for this lamb being lead to the slaughter.

Strange, when the camera panned out I didn’t see a single person singing along to that song. I remember a few of us laughing about it in the fight thread.

The hell is it with eddie and that song? At least do a show in Boston since that’s a thing at Red Sox games

Sugar Ray sucks as a color analyst. Great boxer, I like the guy. But DAZN needs to do better. Would prefer another play by play guy as well.

I do like the DAZN production overall though.

Sadly I must agree with you. Sugar Ray is no color analyst. Give me ATLAS

It's a pity the fight was so awful, in terms of it being a mismatch. Well done to Canelo though, basking in the glory of the Golovkin win, which was an excellent performance, whether you think he won or lost.
