Comments Thread For: Andrade: Canelo in For a Rude Awakening When We Fight!

Demetrius Andrade believes Canelo Alvarez waited for him to be stripped of his WBO junior middleweight title in August 2015, stopped Liam Smith for the vacant crown in September 2016, and immediately avoided him by relinquishing for a rise into the 160-pound division, the undefeated southpaw told BoxingScene.com last month.

That would be a good fight but Andrade should beg for this fight like a good boy. What does Andrade think, that canelo is scared of him? Pretty sure he's fought much better than Andrade multiple times whereas Andrade has fought next to no one.

Maybe if he lost that thug boy mentality he wouldn't be in jail and he might be considered to fight canelo and have his life changed.

Thinks other fighters are avoiding him when he just admitted he got stripped for inactivity..😆
This clown has done nothing or beaten anyone of significance but he thinks Canelo is avoiding him..
Fuccing clowns these days will say anything to be in the spotlight..

"Each was a 154-pounder in 2015, when Alvarez owned unanimous- and split-decisions over left-handed former titleholders Austin Trout (April 2013) and Erislandy Lara (July 2014). Alvarez’s unanimous decision over four-division champion Miguel Cotto (November 2015) earned the WBC crown, which he defended by fourth-round stoppage of former 147-pound titleholder Amir Khan (May 2016).

In November 2013, Andrade won the WBO version by rising from a first-round knockdown for a split-decision over Vanes Martirosyan and defended it via seventh-round TKO of Brian Rose (June 2014).

But Andrade was stripped after 14 months of inactivity, he and his co-promoters having been warned by the WBO that they had passed its nine-month inactivity limit."

It's not like Canelo was afraid of Andrade! He fought Trout, Mayweather, Lara, and Cotto! Andrade fought Martirosyan and Rose! Andrade needs to get a gun permit, and be very humble, and maybe Canelo will fight you. I doubt it, because GGG, Jacobs, and Charlo, are much better options!

It's hard to understand how Andrade never fought Canelo, Cotto, Lara, Trout, or either of the Charlo Brothers! 154 was lit, and it still is:

                    Dan Rafael, ESPN
                    December 11, 2018:

"Brian Castano (15-0, 11 KOs), 29, of Argentina, will defend his secondary junior middleweight belt against former longtime titleholder Erislandy Lara (25-3-2, 14 KOs), 35, a Cuban defector fighting out of Houston, in early 2019 on a Premier Boxing Champions card to be determined, Lara manager Luis DeCubas Jr. told ESPN on Monday. “We made a deal for the fight and we’re waiting on the exact details on when and where the fight will occur but it will be in the first quarter of next year,” DeCubas said. Castano made his first defense by 12th-round knockout of Cedric Vitu on Vutu’s turf in France in March but has not fought since. Lara has not boxed since April when he lost a split decision in a title unification fight a leading fight of the year candidate to Jarrett Hurd."
