Comments Thread For: Wilder Watches Replay, Says Fury Fight 'Really Hard To Judge'

By Keith Idec - NEW YORK Deontay Wilder chowed down on a succulent steak Thursday afternoon. The slender heavyweight will have to eat plenty of comparable meals over the next few months if he is to add the type of weight Wilder intends to put on before the immediate rematch he wants with Tyson Fury. The 6-feet-7 Wilder walked into the ring Saturday night at just 209 pounds, 3 less than at the official weigh-in Friday and approximately 50 fewer than Fury...

More denial and excuses from Wilder, I wonder how long we can expect this for?

STFU!!!! You were taken to school and was schooled. You relied only one thing; your right hand, which Fury busted. You hit him and he resurrected. No plan B, no boxing IQ, no movement, nothing! And yet you think that you are the best?!

So a guy who threw more punches thinks he should have gotten the W in a draw because he was more aggressive.

I don’t see why people are freaking out about this. It’s the same argument most people make in this situation. Do you expect him to be the first fighter ever to say “yeah, I lucked out with that draw. Take my belt, I quit”

Lou don’t do that. If you’re bringing up the fact wilder threw 103 more punches you know damn well fury also outlanded him. That’s not something to brag about.

He had a problem with anyone that scores it for Fury, Farhood gets attacked, Mayweather is a hater, Tyson is a hater, Ward isn't supporting a "Brother" etc.... So he wants everyone to turn a blind eye and just elevate him like they are all members of the LDBC? Gosh, STFU go back to the drawing board, go for the rematch and do what you are suppose to do the first time. You can be aggressive all you want, aggressive in punching the air and getting hit back in the face doesn't mean the round is close. Fury walked him down more than he walked Fury down. This guy and his fans are clowns.

He gets credit for almost knocking Fury out but he lost the fight on the score cards pure and simple. Even the 2 rounds he scored the knock downs he was out boxed. Those were 10-9 rounds for wilder in my opinion. Judges gave him a gift with a draw

I had Wilder winning by KO, Jack definitely got a lil "bonus" from Frank for that 13 count & 10 extra seconds for Fury to recover

If mayweather didn’t have such a long history of being a hater, I’d agree. whenever anyone has a PPV fight he goes on social media and brags about how he’s better, he did it before the Canelo fight, he did it when this fight was announced. Hell, last time a big fight was in the news he went to Japan to announce a match and then ran home with his tail between his legs when he didn’t like the rules. Floyd ****s on any boxer who isn’t him. I’m surprised more people haven’t called him out for that BS.

No idea what Ward said. I hated Ward as a fighter, and I don’t pay much attention to him now that he’s retired.

EDIT - looks like the Japan match is back on? When was that announced? I’m assuming either right before or right after the Wilder/Fury match.
