Comments Thread For: Lomachenko on Rejecting Pacquiao: He's Old, I Think He's Done

Vasiliy Lomachenko, the pound-for-pound star and WBA lightweight world champion will look to unify world titles for the first time Saturday when he takes on WBO champ Jose Pedraza. Three-division world champion Lomachenko is returning to the ring for the first time since climbing off the canvas to stop Venezuela's Jorge Linares on May 12.

Personally I think Manny would make Loma work alot. I'd give him a chance to beat Loma. Loma.would be favorite of course. Speed and power would cause him some issues.

He's crazy to have refused that fight tbh.

I think he’s right. I thought pac should have retired after the horn fight, regardless of who actually won. Loma would have just been criticized for beating an old pacquao.

Lomachenko is one of the best.

Well said Loma. He going to carve his own path and road of greatness. I am a hypocrite If I don't said that I wanted this fight madly. Lomachenko vs Crawford was my dream match, but that ship sail ages ago. Also I want to see Loma vs Mickey, but we don't know his plans after the Spence fight.

Bumachenko up himself because he beat a few bums who were paid to throw the fight, the only one who actually tried to fight him was his dad Salido and all of his so called "boxing skills" went out of the window. Man isn't he fighting another bum next lol

An old pacquiao is still the 3rd best 147 behind Spence and Crawford. He was robbed against horn and the first Bradley fight. Well see how much pacquiao has left vs broner if dominates broner and looks as sharp as mattysse pacquiao would beat Porter maybe Thurman definitely gacia, Khan and if so I'd love for Mayweather to rematch pacquiao for mayweathers inactivity and ability to take punch at older age I'm not 100% sure he'd win only 50% especially after seeing McGregor land so many shot and had not gassed out would've lost.(McGregor always gases early though) after 3 rds mma not much juice left. Pacquiao would give lomachanco hella trouble for I'm not to sold on him especially fighting at 147. I'd much rather see him fight gervanta Davis anyways see if he can take his shots while also seeing if gervanta really is good against quality opponents

              Loma is the man.
He is right in saying if he beat Manny what would it achieve for him besides a decent pay cheque.
Maybe if Pacman does ok against Broner Loma might change his mind about him.

                Good analysis.
Don't forget the ref saved Floyd when Mcgregor had him ready to go from a body punch.

Very good from Loma. There would have been no point. Manny is old

I think old man Pacquiao walks him down and puts him on his ass a couple times even at this stage.
