Comments Thread For: Wilder Says He's Studied Fury For Years: Style Has Not Changed

There can be no excuses for Deontay Wilder if he loses in his eighth defence of the WBC heavyweight strap after revealing that he has been studying his next opponent for years. The 33-year-old takes on Britain's Tyson Fury on December 1 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles seeking to claim the most impressive scalp of his career just months after slaying the bogeyman of the division, Luis Ortiz, in a thrilling slugfest.

Again, somebody on Wilder's team needs to tell him to stfu! Every time her opens his mouth, he either talks out the side, contradicts himself or complains! If hes been studying Fury for years, why wait til Fury is coming off 2.5 years of inactivity? In other words, he's NOT going to get any respect for beating him, except from his ****boi fanboys.....

He'll get respect from me, and I'm a Fury fan.... If Wilder can get his power off and stop Fury I'll be well impressed.

To be honest I think he will get outboxed and embarrassed a few times in there.

When was he supposed to fight Fury? Before his rematch with Klitschko? Or after that rematch that never happened cuz Fury went off the rails.

You fought 36 bums out of 39 opponents and one of those (Arreola) was shot. Ain't even fought nobody and you got TBI.

Both should be commended for taking this fight...I can't lay my life on the line for either.....I suspect that Wilder will land his huge shot at some stage but what if he can't....intriguing!
