They're trying so hard to keep Mungia a Champion & Prospect at the same time.

Good stuff, GBP with a good backing is going to do well. Munguia was a no-brainier and him going to ESPN would have made no sense at all.

For a while there, Golden Boy was lookin like a 2nd rate company. Other promoters kept poaching blue chip prospects like Alexis Ospino, Diego Pacheco and Karlos Balderas from his back yard. However, w/t today’s news of the resigning of Virgil Ortiz and copromotional deals w/t Munguia and Hernandez Golden Boy has cemented themselves as contenders for yrs to come.

Smart move. GBP was looking very thin and both of these guys are good young fighters.

JRock ain’t nothing special, Liam Smith is a better name in Munguia’s resume than JRock would be. However, Lubin against Munguia is a fight i’d love to see and would pay $$$ for. Doubt, the promotional issues would allow it thought. Haymon and Oscar don’t do business together unless is a mandatory a.k.a Diaz vs Russell Jr.

Looks like every Mexican wants to work with Cherry Boy, easy fights and good money. Cherry Boy is like better version of Snake Haymon.

Munguia future is at 160 hell he almost fought at 160 back in May before the fight got shut down. He's phuking huge likely can't even make 154 much longer. Has the size and frame to eventually fight at 168. All the top guys at 160 are with DAZN and the biggest payday is fighting Canelo.
