  • Comments Thread For: Deontay Wilder Says He's Fulfilled Emanuel Steward's Prophecy

When Deontay Wilder speaks on his destiny, legacy, inspirations and motivations, his words may sound like the ravings of a madman. But "The Bronze Bomber" believes everything he says, so much so that his alter ego, "The Bronze Bomber," has flattened each of the 40 men he's fought without losing on the way to winning and defending the WBC's heavyweight championship.

Steward's prediction, or prophecy? As far as I know, a prophecy is a prediction by a wise man in some form of sacred text with religious connotations.

I hate to break it to DW, but what Emanuel Steward said wasn't a prophecy. It was a wise prediction by a well respected trainer, and let's leave it at that.

This is the sort of profanity the WBC should actually be dealing with. Do not ***** with the boxing pantheon, especially not in a tasteless-ass manner.

The prophecy will be complete with Tyson's baptism! I just had a vision! Tyson Fury will be purged of his devils in the city of Angels, I see Fury having spasms in the middle of the ring like Siarhei Liakhovich when Deontay lays hands on Tyson Fury! It is written.

Speak it, believe it, receive it!

The Champ has a lot on his mind. He's not in there this time with a brawler. Fury can box and move which is Wilder's Achilles. Very interesting fight and can't wait

              Heretic! Blasphemer!

Boxing is religious. There is a reason the Christians banned boxing for a millenia. It is anti-christian and it does worship Apollo.

Manny is no different to Apollo than a preacher is to God. Your perspective on things may not allow you to see it that way but look at things from Apollo's perspective.

Does Apollo care if you pray to him? Is Apollo concerned with your beliefs? What is exaltation and worship to Apollo? Bit of boxing, bit of music, maybe some science.

Why do think music was all but killed by the puritans? Science ended by the rise of Christian values? That's what happens when everything is taken literally and strictly. Pagan rituals are a no-no and just because in the modern day something may not seem ritual or religious does not make its intentions anything but. If you intend to praise Apollo you do intend to look at the inner workings of the universe, listen or play you some music, or enjoy a bit of boxing. All exalt Lord Apollo and by any Christian metric outside of " Don't take it literally " all are blasphemy against God.

Apollo doesn't give a damn if you praise him. Apollo is very pleased by training boxing though. This act his high level worship to Lord Apollo. One does not simply be a boxing trainer. Boxing trainers are blessed by the God of Boxing and called to it. Similar to how priests "do not choose the cloth the cloth chooses them" bit the Christian sometimes say now.

Ok let’s speak it. In 32 fights never going over 4 rounds. I’m not buying it. He steps up he gets knocked out. He will scrap through the 1st because Fury can’t punch. His opponents are either too old where they can’t sustain pressure or punch too lightly that Welterweights stand a chance of going 12 rounds with such opponents.

I’ll still be watching the fight with binoculars though
