They've been favoring canelo from the start when they gifted him his first world title by putting him in the easiest/clearly corrupt title fight situation.
    Competitive?

Nobodoy punished GGG like Nelo did.

    And he was in prime.

GGG thrown 850 punches in the fight.

nobody is in their prime at 36 yrs old. And no way should a 28 yr old be getting out worked by a 36 yr old.... but ok.

Some fighters have their best wins post 35, few but some do.

Canelo getting out worked is a myth. It takes less energy to throw jabs (especially when many of those jabs are measuring jabs), than to use angles, use feints, use foot work, and still land more power punches than the jabber.

It looks like Canelo was working with more tools while Golovkin was throwing more jabs.

very few fighters have better wins after 35 but regardless, ggg clearly isn't better in his mid to late 30s than he was earlier in his career. Maybe only Hopkins was. As far as out worked, throwing and landing more punches is the definition of out working. Now, Canelo may be flashier with his combos and footwork but many chose to ignore how ggg (who has been labled as a basic plodder) was able to control canelo with his jab, circle him Constantly without moving backwards and land his own share of power shots. Not to mention, close the championship rounds much stronger than that the much younger Canelo.

He has to be time if the win is that big that they will never forget it
You can’t have it both ways so is he yes or no?

GGG was not in his prime muppet! His prime was 3-4 years ago when the dirty ginger was avoiding him

                    nope

if Golovkin had truly fought everyone, then..... maybe

but he has obviously tip-toed through the tulips, with soft-touches

Golovkin was largely hype and marketing, a typical network darling

that is why there is a HUGE list of guys he could have fought, but CHOSE not to

guys who are MUCH better than the guys he ended up facing

we don't know the REAL Golovkin, because he would not take the fights to prove it..... I believe we saw the REAL Golovkin when he finally stepped up with Jacobs/Canelo..... very good, but not great

3-4 years ago GGG thrown exactly the same amount of punches.

GGG was in prime, with a lot of experience and without wars or a great lista of hard fights.
