Wlad was made lineal because they knew he would never fight his brother for the other title so Wlad's lineal claim was not real. Still Fury is the man that beat him so he is as much a true champ as anyone else.

the point of being lineal champ is to represent this guy is clearly the best in the division. do you really think that applies to tyson fury who didnt fight for 3 years and when he came back looked completely crap? why are you trying to find a short cut to greatness for wilder? was jordan still the champ when he came back to basketball? no. things moved on without him and so did boxing without fury. dennis grachev and edwin rodriguez were lineal champs with this logic but what does that actually translate to in real world meaning? nothing. they ******. fury sucks too. beating the past doesn't make you great in the present or futureComment
