Who really gets to make the official decision on this? I'm a Fury fan but I think he should have lost the lineal title when he was out for 2 years under the circumstances. But Showtime is still promoting him as having the lineal title.

The winner of Wilder vs Fury still has to beat AJ to be the real lineal champ and AJ still has to beat the Wilder vs Fury winner to be the real lineal champ. Boxing Scene is wrong on this and Ring magazine is right.
