So robbie already accepted that fury ks going to lose this fight by KO. And wont accept it as a valid fight to consolidate Wilder's resume and of course wilder in his eyes wont be lineal.
Oh, I am pretty sure someone will figure it out even if you can't.
Fury's claim is valid, no dis*****g it.
He is still the lineal.
And again, even if he wasn't the lineal, the fight Dec 1 should absolutely be for the lineal.
Folks forget that the lineal isn't necessarily about naming the best in a division.
It's simply about who beat who beat who.
Fury beat the lineal to become the lineal.
He has not retired and he has not lost in the ring.
He was stripped of belts and suspended...the same way Canelo was stripped and suspended.
Canelo just fought and won a lineal a few months ago based on the fact he was the last lineal and that he was fighting a guy who was both a champion and another top ranked guy in his division.
That is the same thing happening Dec. 1.
Fury retired and was banned.
Canelo was rated #2 in the division, Golovkin #1. So was 1 against 2. Fury isn't rated #2 anywhere some don't even have him top 10. You really need to brush up on your knowledge.
In all my years of following boxing, I've never even heard of the "lineal" title being a thing before. It just suddenly became important when Wilder fans realized he was in line to fight for it.
Not true.
Lineal is always discussed in pretty much every weight class.
It was definitely a point of emphasis in the ongoing GGG/Canelo saga, and it is also an ongoing theme in the light heavyweight division.
The only reason you have naysayers that don't want to see historical precedent followed and Dec 1 be called what it is- the lineal heavyweight championship of the world- is that it doesn't involve the fighter they like, AJ.

I said he wasn't lineal before his first comeback fight. So don't try that ****.

When did Fury retire?
He was stripped.
And did you forget Canelo was also suspended for PED use yet fought for a lineal his very next fight?

It has happened throughout history...when a fighter retires or gets suspended they lose their lineal title. This also happened to Fury, it's right there for anyone to see isn't it ? Why do you think that TRBR and The Ring don't recognise Tyson Fury as their lineal Champion anymore ? Because he isnt
Lineal is just a made up label. It's when you fight a fighter that counts. Wilder isn't even the real champion of we went on such foolishness until he beats Vitali.
No, it was the last lineal vs a highly ranked champion.
If that was say GGG vs BJS (who is number 1 or 2 according to some sanctioning bodies) that still wouldn't have made it lineal until the last lineal (Canelo) was accounted for.
Lineal doesn't come from sanctioning bodies or even Ring magazine. You can be lineal without being a Ring champ.
There is the argument that while Fury was away for 2 years, a new lineage could've been established. But that would've been the winner of AJ vs Wilder, and that hasn't happened.
Regardless, Fury is back – and he was the man who beat the man.

Nobody had Saunders #2. Golovkin and Canelo were 1 and 2, that's why it was lineal.
Why are you discussing lineal when you don't know how someone becomes lineal?
