  • Comments Thread For: Pascal: Bivol Still Untested, But Best Fighter In The Division

If anyone can speak to who's who within the light heavyweight division, it's Jean Pascal. The former WBC 175-pound champion has fought former Sergey Kovalev twice and the man who recently upset Kovalev, Eleider Alvarez, in recent years. Pascal also fought Chad Dawson and Bernard Hopkins twice during the prime of the Quebec-based star's career.

That “math” only works if kellermens word held weight on the matter. I don’t believe there is anyone in the division that can beat everyone, in fact they each can win and lose fights agaist each other, but when I do the math pascal doesn’t really fit in favorably anywhere in the division

Barrera and Chilemba both present bigger tests than Pascal

Pascal has a bout a 5% chance of winning the fight but like Lloyd on Dumb & Dumber once said, 'SO YOU'RE TELLING ME THERE'S A CHANCE! YEAH!

You know what's needed? A WBSS at 175lbs..... wait a minute, they tried that and the champs/promoters didn't buy in hence why we have an unnecessary season 2 of the Cruiserweights.
I still think it's needed at 175 and would be entertaining; but time's running out if we want to see the bigger names in it as, Bivol aside the champs are all getting on a bit.

Just calm down It's only my opinion😁 But seriously even if you dont agree with me, is it really that out there that he's not as good as those guys? To clarify I DONT think Chilemba is better than Pascal but that his awkward style and would be much more difficult for Bivol to deal with than Pascal's reckless slugging style. And I don't see why you rate Pascal over Barrera who has 4 solid wins in 2 years. Where Pascal has 1 good win in 8 years. Other than Lucian Bute and the Hopkins draw he's lost every single real fight he's been in since Dawson in 2010
