Maurice "Mighty Mo" Hooker (25-0, 17 KOs) successfully defended his WBO junior welterweight world title in his return to the ring on Friday night, toppling Alex Saucedo (28-1, 18KOs) via a seventh-round TKO in Saucedo's hometown at the Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City.

He didn’t beat Flanagan anywhere near as convincingly as Prograis did

Coyle or Algieri would be such joke opponents, Hearn can't be allowed to make those fights

          He does not have to.
Still a good accomplishment considering it was done away from home!

lol he's the weakest champ at 140. He loses decisively to Ramirez, Prograis, Taylor and Baranchyk.

Hearn won't take a risk. ESPN outbid Eddie, Canelo outbid Eddie, Diabela outbid Eddie. Anytime the stakes or odds get high, Eddie drops out. He didn't bid at all for Smith vs Pedraza (side deal w Smith), Canelo offered crazy money (American style), and ESPN took what might be Maurice's best showing. It's Hooker vs the Algieri's/cheap imports of the world until somebody else comes along and outbids Eddie.

Lol I wonder if he let out a smirk after saying that. Typical promoter BS. He knows Hooker is the weakest link in the division.

Id say Ramirez looks like the weakest champ at the moment. He gets hit way too often and skipped the tourney for a reason.
