“Before his first pro bout, he is already the best fighter in the history of India,” said David McWater, Krishan’s manager.
The Great Khali is the best fighter in the history of India there ever was and ever will be.

oh man.... this would end up as embarrassment. He is a 3 round fighter. gassed badly against Conwell in RIO no technique, poor defense.

Is he gonna fight him in India? Idk why Arum keeps picking up these random ass foreign fighters knowing fans aren't supportive of foreign fighters. Mfer trying to find the next Pacquiao I feel like. Good luck with that sh^t.

Oddly its looking like HBO with a lower budget & Arum with a bigger budget got the same strategy....sign foreign fighters that have a rough road to main****** attention.

Randomly anyone know the Indian capital of the US? I know Mexicans will show up everywhere, but particularly in CA, TX & Vegas. I know PR's are in NYC. I know Polish are in Chicago. I know ******s are all up in Dearborn, MI. I know the Cubans are in Miami. Where the f#ck the Indians at in the US???

i think there is a large population in New York area and there are 4.5mill indians in the US. IMO this is a smart move by Arum. with good matchmaking this guy could bring in $$. theyve already started running off the Errol Spence controversy for publicity.

indians are all over man, but especially in NYC, DC and the silicon valley. but then most of the are nerdy af and not into combat sports.

ihavent seen much of this guy but i doubt hell be very good at a professional level, his style is too amateurish and i dont think hes got the pop to hang in there with decent fighters. arum is just doing this for commercial reasons. he is all about signing foreign fighters and exploiting them, like pacman, and that chinese olympian, i forget his name, Arum is by far the worst promoter imo. wait, after don king lol.

Will they attend fights? I don't think I've heard of any Indian guy in the US doing big business in boxing ever. I know that Vijinder guy or w/e his name is was a big deal. I knew who he was before he turned pro. I can't say I know all that much about this guy & I'd bet anything he doesn't got the following Vijinder does.

Idk about a smart move. I think its probably a cheap move to acquire a talented amateur. Arum has always been a big Olympic class guy. But its hard to turn these foreign dudes into draws in the US. And even when you do they are gonna have a low ceiling.

Sure once every decade give or take there is a Manny out there to find, but thats some hard sh^t to find.

theyve already started running off the Errol Spence controversy for publicity.
Well yea they gotta do that. This guy doesn't mean nothing to nobody so if you can get him being thought of by name dropping a notable guy he beat as an amateur thats a standard run of the mill move.

I doubt it'll get him far doe. Most people, even hardcore fans, don't really give THAT much of a f#ck about who beat who as amateurs. Its damn near a whole other sport.

i dont disagree with you. but i can see what bob is trying to do here. bob arum is one of the most influential people in boxing ever. this guy is already the best indian boxer ever. obviously there hasnt been any come out of india for any success. so hes breaking new ground here. there are around 1.4billion indians around the world.
and the money isnt in hardcore fans. hardcore fans put up with and watch most fights... the money is in casuals. and an indian who has history with errol spence in amateurs can potentially bring in the $$
