Comments Thread For: Froch: Fighting Joshua May Be Too Ambitious For 'Special' Usyk

Carl Froch is as impressed by Oleksandr Usyk as most boxing experts and fans. The former super middleweight champion is intrigued, too, by the probability of the unbeaten Ukrainian southpaw moving up to heavyweight. Froch cautioned, however, that the undisputed cruiserweight champion's handlers should be careful to avoid moving Usyk too fast within that dangerous division.

Joshua is a big stiff idiot.

He couldn't even do anything with Parker and he only stopped Takam because the ref jumped in after he missed a flurry. He only stops bums and old men.

Usyk will take him to school.

Only Joshua stans would support this fight because they don't care nor do they know anything about boxing. Their hero ducking the real HW out there and him fighting a cruiser weight fighter is totally ok lol

It's a pickem fight fight right now. With edge going to josh. Josh gets bonus points just for being a heavyweight.

Usyk could beat Wilder but should stay away from Joshua just too big.

It would be interesting to see Usyk vs a fully fit Fury but probably a very boring fight for the casuals.

I'd fancy Usyk to outbox AJ all day and twice on Sunday tbh.

                it's not

stylistically usyk doesn't bring anything to really trouble joshua

at BEST he frustrates him for a couple of rounds before getting lamped

Joshua will simply hold center ring and usyk will bounce around for a bit trying to work his way in before getting caught and taken out.

After watching Usyk's fight vs Bellew I am not sure Usyk can beat Joshua.

Joshua would just walk through Bellew like if he doesn't exist.

were you ever in any doubt before?

Joshuas big problems will come against slick movers with big power

Usyk is a stand in front of you and have a chess match guy.

Now that's ok at lower weight where you can afford to take a few shots, but against a guy with elite power at heavyweight, naaaaaah mate

and I agree, Joshua could take bellew out inside one minute if he wanted.
