This is actually a pretty good fight for Lemieux. Tureano isn't a world beater, obviously, and in fact after his Derevyanchenko loss, I seem to remember whispers of retirement. But he only has that loss and a questionable stoppage vs Stevens on his record.

But, IMO, Johnson just gets hit too easily to last 10 with Lemieux. We'll find out soon enough though. 6 weeks flies by.

Sucks for him & his career,but what should anyone expect from a WBO "champ", after all we have Crawford/Loma/Zurdo all got WBO belts by beating overmatched no hopers.(except Loma who I actually give credit to for beating linares)& now they all are using Arum/top stank & exclusive espn deal as an excuse to beat up on nobodies on espn rather than face the best.

Boxing would be so much better off if Arum was rightfully banned 4 life 4 being the lying,thieving scumbag he is. That's why top rank fighters are all babysitting WBO paper trinkets without ever facing anyone whos non WBO bums. Arum testified in court that he used to bribe IBF to rank bums as #1 contenders,so as a result he just went to the WBO when the head of IBF went to jail. Now Arum just bribes the WBO & his fighters are allowed to cherrypick eternally.

Thats why I can't stand top stank & its paper champs, hiding behind their espn deal,as if any elite non top stank fighter wants to fight on that sht network & its biased racist hypemen like Atlas.

The Problem is that Munguia with the consent of Zanfer signed a contract with GBP to copromote his fights on this side of the fence. According to Munguia and Zanfer they are very happy with GBP.

Golden Boy needs to take this guy off the card. That slot should go to Ryan Garcia or another up and coming prospect. We know who Lemiux is, no need for more exposure.

Lemiux should be headlining his own cards in Canada against guys like this.

The Canelo undercard platform is too great of a slot to be wasted.

Hopefully Lemuix scored another impressive KO so that they can make Canelo vs Lemieux in September. The pressure is off to have to sell PPV's so I don't think GBP are going to care much now.

No way, that's an awful fight. So much better options out there. I like Lemiux, but I like him against anyone else, just not Canelo.
