Comments Thread For: Warrington Eager To Give 'Two Fingers' To Haters After Big Win

Josh Warrington confesses he found it satisfying' when he proved wrong the doubters who wrote off his chances of becoming world champion. He also added that it will be the same thing again when he defeats Carl Frampton in their BT Sport Box Office clash on December 22nd in Manchester.

I would have more sympathy for Warrington.... if didn't come across as a horrible little **** every time he speaks or posts something on social media. Frampton can come across a bit arrogant as well, but I hope he sparks Warrington out just shut his goofy-toothed mouth.

I like both boxers. I just hope it makes for a good fight which based on their styles, I think it will. You people are too hung up on what people say on social media. Who gives a damn. All that matters is what they do in the ring and Warrington has been consistently entertaining. People talk **** on social media. It is totally meaningless.

I just hope the fight isn’t over within 3 rounds due to a cut.

The ref is going to have to stay on top of that, Warrington leads with his head and he shouldn’t have got away with what he did in the Selby fight.

Totally disagree with that. There were no intentional headbutts. Selby was holding whenever Warrington mounted an attack and thus increased the chance of headbutts. Warrington just wanted it more, was busier and landed the cleaner punches all night.
Selby thought he'd cruise to a victory on the back foot all night but Warrington wouldn't let him rest.

Every cut Selby endured was due to headbutts, he was jumping in head first. After the first cut, the ref should have pulled him up on it.

I’m not saying that changed the fight but it could have ended the fight very early.

When does Frampton come across as arrogant? Never that I've seen. He's confident in his ability, but he should be, he's a 2 weight champ and probably the best active p4p British fighter.

Other than a high work rate, I'm not sure what it is that Warrington actually does that is elite level? He's gotta be one of the least impressive World Champs out there. Can only see Frampton being way too good for him. Would've been more interested in a Selby v Frampton fight.
