Looked good last time out, stopped a tough (albeit old) opponent. Gotta keep stepping up.

Get him in with Joyce; we'll see if Hrgovic can handle brute force and if Joyce can handle a skillful boxer.

How was the Mansour knockout sensational? Seriously?

Joyce fought Hrgovic years ago in the U.k I think ? Back and forth fight but Joyce pounded his way in later rounds from what I recall. We know Joyce can handle a skilled boxer because he fought Usyk when he was just starting out on fighting high level guys and in five rounds kept up with the gold medalist even in a loss. Look at him now. I like Joyce I think he fights Joshua eventually down the line.

Hrgovic is a beast, bring on those European level guys, he will run right through them. Hrgovic and Ajagba are the future of the HW division

Those were in the amateur code, but I think Joyce suits the pro game better. A lot of times in the amateurs he didn't have enough rounds to wear down opponents with his relentless style (like Yoka in the Olympic final, where he was robbed on points), but now he has a longer window of opportunity in fights to get the KO's. It's just a shame he waited so long to turn pro, I hope he has enough time left to get a chance at world level.

yes: Joyce beat Hrgovic in the WSB, back in 2013... Hrgovic also has a 1-2 record vs Yoka... but these don't tell much in the pros...

Honestly a lot of Yoka's big wins in the ams were questionable decisions. Can't recall many occasions of him actually winning clearly in a final or semi-final. I still think he's a talented boxer, mind

The same applies to Evgeny Tishchenko, who has recently turned pro and makes his American debut on the Bivol undercard
