AFTER an admirable showing in his first ever world title challenge Callum Johnson (17-1, 12 KOs) is looking to kick on and return to action in December. Johnson really should have jumped on beterbiev in the second round..he's gonna be thinking of that moment for the rest of his life..only a rematch,winning the world title or having satisfaction with the way his career went will free him from the thought of not fully exercising his opportunities..in the meantime.. I think he should face yarde in a British dust-up..that is if yarde's team and fish eyes warren fancies it

With the Beterbiev fight, it was one of those rare KO losses where he doesn't lose any cred, and in fact you could argue, what with his inactivity, his dad dying, and actually flooring Beterbiev, he comes out of it looking slightly heroic. Well, at least to me he does. Callum has a bright future ahead of him still.
