AFTER an admirable showing in his first ever world title challenge Callum Johnson (17-1, 12 KOs) is looking to kick on and return to action in December. The British and Commonwealth Light Heavyweight champion went toe-to-toe with IBF world champion Artur Beterbiev in Chicago earlier this month dropping the seemingly invincible Russian in the second round only to be stopped in the fourth of a mini war in the Windy City.

Johnson really should have jumped on beterbiev in the second round..he's gonna be thinking of that moment for the rest of his life..only a rematch, winning the world title or having satisfaction with the way his career went will free him from the thought of not fully exercising his opportunities..in the meantime.. I think he should face yarde in a British dust-up..that is if yarde's team and fish eyes warren fancies it

          No chance Yarde takes it.

With the Beterbiev fight, it was one of those rare KO losses where he doesn't lose any cred, and in fact you could argue, what with his inactivity, his dad dying, and actually flooring Beterbiev, he comes out of it looking slightly heroic. Well, at least to me he does. Callum has a bright future ahead of him still.

was scared of opening up and getting countered most likely, he had already been dropped and hurt every time artur landed flush.

I like Johnson, would have been good to see him win the belt but he needed to go for it in that second.

Yarde only fights people from obscure parts of the world with padded records while telling everyone he has limited amateur and professional experience.
