Comments Thread For: Jorge Linares Likely To Return on Canelo-Fielding Undercard

LAS VEGAS - BoxingScene.com caught up with former multi-division champion Jorge Linares yesterday at the Ryota Murata-Rob Brant weigh in. Linares, who is co-promoted by Golden Boy and Teiken, was there to support his promotional stablemate Murata who is co-promoted by Teiken and Top Rank. Unfortunately for Linares, his stablemate was thoroughly defeated by big underdog Rob Brant in a shocking upset.

According to boxrec Farmer and Katie Taylor are listed on the undercard. Just like Canelo/GGG since Golden Boy is the lead promoter most of the undercard will be Golden Boy fighters but Loeffler got a few spots for his fighters that's how Chocalitito got on the PPV. So it looks like Hearn is already using his spots on both Farmer and Katie. The rest of the undercard likely filled out soley by the Golden Boy side here are the fighters either they or Golden Boy have said could be fighting on this undercard

        Munguia
        Ryan Garcia
        Linares
        Eduardo Hernandez

Oscar needs to put Alexis Rocha on the undercard. No doubt in my mind that Rocha is a future champ @ 147 lbs. Give him a step up fight against a solid vet like Emmanuel Taylor, there is legit talent in this kid.

this era of boxing in which 2nd and 3rd tier guys are fighting twice a year disgusts me.
