Comments Thread For: Hearn: I Don't Want To Wait Until 12/1 For Wilder-Joshua Talks

Eddie Hearn, promoter for IBF, IBO, WBA, WBO heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua, does not want to wait until December 1 to begin negotiations for a potential unification with WBC champion Deontay Wilder. Wilder (40-0, 39KOs) will make a defense of his title in a high profile fight against Tyson Fury on December 1 at Staples Center in Los Angeles, California.

What's more important than the biggest HW unification fight for a generation Shelley, that you can't meet up or take some time to discuss it?

Once the U.S. PPV numbers come out for Wilder-Fury they will give Deontay greater leverage in negotiations (assuming he wins the fight of course.)

Hearn the snake wants to force a deal now before that happens.

Well...if this is the case, Eddie should simply make an aggressive offer that assumes Wilder wins and that the ppv does well. A percentage in the 40s would do it.

However, he just a few days ago said that in order to fight Canelo or Joshua you have to be a DAZN fighter. If that's the case, you can't expect a fighter to make that kind of a decision while in camp for the biggest fight of his career.

the Joshua muppets will still forget that the reason why they offered Parker a 32.5% split is because they actually wanted to fight Parker

considering the fact that Parker got 32.5%, any serious negotiation for Wilder would obviously have to start at 32.5%

when that happens, it is possible they could be serious..... until then, they are blowing smoke

talking about one guy, while lining up someone else

they are looking like Team Golovkin 2.0
