****ing embarrassing main event and a laughably bad card aside from Corcoran/Garton which is a decent fight

Shît card but good on Yarde keeping busy!

Next year he should be starting to fight top domestic level fighters and then in 2 years top contenders or former world champions and by 2024 he should be fighting for a title as by then he’ll be a complete fighter I reckon!

He has the speed, power, explosiveness, reflexes, and talent to go far if treaded correctly!

I'm not sure if you're being sarcastic or not.

I really like Yarde, but the truth is I'm tired of seeing him face opposition that I know he'll steamroll in the early rounds. Yes he's inexperienced, but I'm not sure how much experience he's gonna gain from knocking out the next Eastern european taxi driver.

I think he's in his prime now and should take advantage of the fact. Especially since the previous top two guys aren't as much of threat anymore. Ward will never come out of retirement and Kovalev seems to be beyond his best and broken mentally. If I were him I'd go after kovalev before he becomes irrelevant. He'd be an amazing scalp to have on your record

Agree. He’s making excuses for his poor opposition in the article.

It’s all very well saying he needs time to develop, but if he’s not stepping up his competition and challenging himself he’s not learning.

I subscribe to BT Sports but I think i'll watch the WBSS instead of this shocker of a card.

Shocking card again. I would not watch this guy until he fights a live domestic opponents, and no i dont care about the "He didn't have much amateur background" excuses.
