Comments Thread For: Canelo-Fielding Contracts: Rehydration Clause, 2nd-Day Weigh-In

NEW YORK Rocky Fielding was noticeably bigger than Canelo Alvarez when they stood face-to-face Wednesday. The 6-feet-1 Fielding stands four inches taller than the 5-feet-9 Alvarez, who will move up from middleweight to super middleweight to challenge Fielding on December 15. Alvarez and his handlers have tried, however, to restrict Fielding's size advantage entering their 12-round, 168-pound championship match at Madison Square Garden.

Wait, so canelo moved up in weight to fight a weak low leveled so called champion and is still insisting on a rehydration clause? Yep, he's chasing greatness.

Canelo walks at 189lbs anyway so the only advantage is the height.

For those criticizing the rehydration clause did you even read the article it’s only until the 2nd weigh in the following morning. Rocky will still have plenty of time to add additional weight on post secondary weigh in. I’m happy that Canelos remaining active and getting this 2nd fight in especially after going to war with GGG.

“But also, let’s be honest – Canelo is, technically, a better fighter than Rocky Fielding“

Lol even if this is true he shouldn’t say it about a fighter he’s promoting.

Honestly it’s hard to critique in a situation like this. Canelo is the man. You need to jump through hoops in cases like this. It’s a chance of a lifetime

Flat out admitted Canelo is a better fighter. It seems Eddie isn't all lies after all.
