Comments Thread For: WBC Prez Embraces Luis Ortiz vs. Dillian Whyte Final Eliminator

World Boxing Council President Mauricio Sulaiman would love to sanction a final eliminator between heavyweight contender Dillian Whyte and Luis Ortiz. The two heavyweight have been trading words for over a week. Ortiz has been calling out Whyte - after the British boxer claimed the Cuban boxer was not really willing to face him.

    Whytes appeal will do nothing.

If they do indeed have a binding contractual agreement with breazeale for him to occupy that mandatory spot then they can't renege on to without expecting to be sued.

At this point.. Whyte needs to just fight Ortiz and claim that second mandatory if he does indeed want to go the WBC/Wilder route.

The WBC absolutely need to enforce that breazeale mandatory quickly. If they meet in December..and call that mandatory for AFTER this supposed Fury rematch.. that could mean breazeale won't fight wilder until at least August or September of 19 . If wilder beats Fury again in 2019.. then goes into a unification against Joshua then breazeale won't get a shot until maybe December 19.. so Whyte would be waiting until late 2020.

    That's concerning ....

Lmao watch Dillian Whyte find a way out of this fight. If he pulls out this time he should have his ranking removed.

Whyte wants no part of Ortiz. He will take the easier road with Chisora.

It’s all very easy to circumvent Whyte should be careful not to push too hard they’ve done it countless times and simply allow Breazeale and Whyte for the interim or regular upgrading Wilder !!

The WBC really are scum and know every loop hole available to themselves.

Yeah, one has lasted a week, and one lasted years.

                  Same thing.

Let's hope this fight happens. I wonder if Whyte was expecting Ortiz to accept.
