One of the lil' G posse makes an appearance.

So I guess you think Golovkin moving to 168lbs for one fight against a Fielding level opponent would have put to rest the moving up to 168lbs argument. LOL! I'm sure. I'm not even in the ****** lil' G posse and I would say had he done that it would have looked buffoonish.

Canelo ducking real competition at 160 to fight an absolute bum at 168 and you make it an anti GGG thread? Canelo is pathetic, found the weakest of the weakest secondary beltholder around his weight.

Yes, Golovkin should have faced a tomato can at 168lbs so he would have fulfilled that statement and quieted his critics. (EYE ROLL)

        SMH, how utterly dumb.

Fielding is literally a tougher opponent then 80% of the bums GGG has fought including the bum he just fought in May. LMAO
We know exactly what would've been your reply because you've been saying the same thing for what two years now? He ducked ward...so please stop trying to say you would've given him credit. Golovkin was always going to be one boogey man away from earning your respect no matter how many people he fought or beat/lost to.

These clowns supposedly would have all quieted down had he moved up to face a stiff at 168lbs for one fight.

I would have given him absolutely no credit but it would have been good enough for the haters. LMAO!

no one said lil g going to fight fielding would put anything to rest for lil g...thats not the point

but canelo never ran his mouth like lil g did...and canelo has already accomplished more and shown more balls....

it would have looked ****** for lil g...cause his career and resume is his...it stinks....when he stepped up he didnt look better than his comp....

canelo is on another plain...this is a quick turnaround fight this year...a come down fight....its like golovkin fighting vanes....cept canelo just beat golovkin and golovkin had just drawn with canelo

you cant compare situations....canelo doesnt have golovkins career and vice versa.....this is canelos 4th weight class...lil g still only has 1 and ran from featherfisted ward at 168

The whole point of the damn thread is that by Canelo fighting some stiff at 168lbs that this is a take down of Golovkin. You might want to read the title of the thread.

I have no problem with Canelo fighting this guy. Is it a good fight, no. This guy is a stiff. Vanes was a stiff. I don't like either fight but I understood them given the situation.

I'm not comparing Golovkin and Canelo's careers. People trying to hit on Golovkin because he didn't move up to fight a stiff at 168lbs is ******. He wouldn't and shouldn't have got any credit for taking the type of fight Canelo is taking. Now if Canelo sticks around at 168lbs and takes on the best give the man credit. He does have one benefit, because as you said their careers aren't the same, Canelo has already made massive amounts of money. Golovkin was always trying to make that big pay day . . . and you know what he finally got it at 35-36 years old.

the only reason anyone is hitting on golovkin for not fighting anyone at 168(stiffs included) is because they will counterpunch someone bagging on canelo for this

i agree..this fight sucks...but we both understand it.....so golovkin fans should understand it and not mention how it stinks.....because at least canelo is returning quickly and on his 4th weight class

i get it...this fight is nothing....but golovkin fans have done so much crying they should just shut up and not even mention this fight

I only speak for myself. I’m not here to defend anyone. Either an individual poster or a group of fans.

This wasn’t a counterpunch it was an attack. Again I have no problem with this fight. Right is right and wrong is wrong. It isn’t right because my guy did it and wrong because your guy did it. This is the crap that goes on in politics. I’m sick of it.
