even tho most of those guy at this point in time have a bit of a busy schedule sorta

its not like hes fighting a guy from 154 at 160 or some bum at 160....

no hes moving up to 168, albeit fielding, but still he doesnt have to but hes still doing so....

all this crying that these ggg fans where doing all these years about 154-168 and canelo fights for a belt there first... WITHOUT the excuses of catchweights or that "no one wants to fight me" nonsense that triple quack was doing.

So are you acknowledging that Fielding is a terrible opponent? Are you giving Canelo great credit facing a bad opponent at 168lbs and diminishing Golovkin because he didn't face a bad opponent at 168lbs.

GGG would get no credit fighting Fielding at 168. especially for a piece of sht meaningless belt. Canelo gets no credit either. but its a voluntary aka cherry pick so fck it. it better be GGG vs Charlo winner next.

not a bad fight for stay busy while testing the waters...
It's a bad fight. But again no problem with the fight. You spend 5 minutes watching videos of this guy and you see he isn't even close to quality. He'd get starched by Lemieux,

If Canelo moves up to 168lbs and faces the best then come back to me but I don't want to hear him fighting a stiff at 168lbs as some smack against Golovkin.

Isn't it a voluntary defense . . . so does this fight count since he isn't fighting at 160lbs? So he would still have another fight at 160lbs against whoever he wants. If I'm thinking about this correctly that might mean Lemieux in May and possible big fight in September (possibly Golovkin again).

This fight is fine considering the fact it's only 3 months after fighting GGG and he's moving up in weight.

C'mon man you have to be smarter then that!!

canelo isnt going to beat the top dog at 168 now, he is only testing the waters for future fights, he made it very clear that he will continue as the wbc champ at 160, so that means either ggg or charlo are next after this tune up...
now i expect canelo to beat the top dog at 168 after he is done at 160... but it remains to be seen...

Fielding is 27-1, him at 168 is a much tougher fight than Lemieux at 160. Not saying this is a great opponent, but as a way to stay busy, it’s a decent one. And Fielding won the WBA SMW title in the ring vs an undefeated opponent, no one gave him anything.
