My issue is you suggesting that had Golovkin moved up and fought a guy of Fielding's quality that would have shut down the move up crowd. That's just dumb and you know it or you should.
ggg fights lower quality from 154 lol... vanes, cough...

          LOL!

Again I don't have no hate for Canelo. This is a crap fight (and yes Golovkin vs. Vanes for the bigdummy who keeps bring it up was crap too). Canelo wants an easy fight no problem, he deserves it IMO.

What is just plain idiotic is the usual tool bags claiming that Canelo is doing something so incredible that Golovkin wouldn't do by taking this fight at 168lbs. No one in their right mind would have given Golovkin credit for moving up to 168lbs to face this type of opponent except hardcore nuthuggers.

Now maybe Canelo will move up for good to 168lbs and face the best there, then you have something to yap about. Not moving up to fight this mediocre fighter.

Absolutely. GGG has fought maybe 3 or 4 guys better than Fielding his whole career. And zero of them were at a higher weight.

This is what great boxers do, they move around to find good fights. Ward went to 175 to clean that out. Floyd went from 130-154. Manny from 122-150. Canelo is a short middleweight, but he can handle anyone at that weight. He’s really small for SMW, it makes it risky.

After watching a few video of this guy he is Vanes, hell even worse quality.

So you think had Golovkin moved up to 168lbs for one fight to face this quality of opposition that would have sufficed his critics. You really don't believe that do you?

I never defended the Vanes fight as far as being a quality opponent. No one should be defending this fight as a quality opponent. I understand why both fights were made.

I am not going to give Canelo credit for fighting a stiff at 168lbs and also using him fighting a stiff at this weight to attack Golovkin. We know full well had this quality of opponent been Golovkin's opposition at 168lbs that he would have been tarred and feathered.

Now maybe some of his hardest core supporters would defend that but not me.

One thing I've learned from this thread is that there still seems to be a big appetite from both sets of supporters to see a 3rd Canelo Golovkin fight.

gggs resume is full of bums, what difference does it make... maybe just him fighting at 168 as promised for years, but like i said why even bother with fantasy scenarios... and i been saying this for years, not just today...
not a bad fight for stay busy while testing the waters...
