Brian McIntyre didn't mince words Thursday. Terence Crawford's manager/trainer applied pressure on Crawford's promoter, Top Rank Inc., to do whatever's necessary to make the fights Crawford wants most. McIntyre admitted during a conference call that the only opponents that'll interest Crawford after he defeats Jose Benavidez Jr. on October 13 are fights against fellow welterweight champions.

Sorry, but Thurman, Porter and Garcia are more proven names than both of you.

Crawford should fight Spence! It is Spence who talks like he wants it to marinate. You can let Thurman vs Spence marinate instead while Thurman is recuperating.

              keep it real

Hands down, THE best at WW, Spence & Crawford...this is a 50/50 match up, everyone else at WW vs either Spence or Crawford gets KO'd and is looking like 70/30 underdogs, this includes Thurman also!

I'm not sure how much time Crawford has as a Top Rank fighter but if these fights are not made, he and big Mac will be looking to jump ship to Al Haymon. Not every fight can be PPV with the other top welterweights. TR has a very though job ahead of them.

Spence is not fighting on Mickey Mouse ESPN, and Top Rank is not
going to let their most significant fighter appear on Showtime.
Showtime have shown a willingness to cooperate with rival networks
to make mega-fights happen, but is Disney going to be as flexible?
With certain promoters signing exclusive contracts with specific networks
it's not going to become easier to make these big fights happen, it's only
going to become harder than ever before.
