Comments Thread For: Fury: If Depression, Drugs, Alcohol Can't Beat Me, Wilder Can't

NEW YORK Amid all the trash talk and histrionics Tuesday, Tyson Fury offered a reminder of just how far he has come since resuming his boxing career earlier this year. The lineal heavyweight champion expressed exactly why, after all he has been through, he feels Deontay Wilder can't beat him once their over-the-top press conference ended on the flight deck of Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum.

remember Andre ward had a similar layoff then beat two guys in his tune up fight and then beat the powerful puncher sergey kovalev,he went 3-0 that year..if fury accomplishes that he not only becomes 3-0 this year but IMO becomes a boxing great because no one is giving him a chance in this fight

2nd that motion; throw some past questionable (to say the least) liaisons into the mix and surely I'd get inducted to hall of fame, lol.
All Tyson Fury learned is the same that the rest of us do a little earlier into adulthood; that life is fecking hard, only most of us don't earn millions to soften the blow. Give the man a hankie to dry his eyes and carry on.

Wilder got rocked by 50 year old ortiz, fury's boxing skills are too good and he's hard to catch..he will get hit but if he takes the punch well he will take everything wilder has to offer, he'll kill his will. Wouldn't surprise me if he finished wilder by round 9.
