    With HBO Sports confirming that beginning in 2019 that they will no longer be televising boxing, marquee fighters like Gennady Golovkin - who was a staple of the network the past several years - are now in essence, television/platform free agents.

              In other news HBO just dropped boxing from its network. Effective January 2019..smh showtime must've gotten it those pockets harder than we thought

                    I think Loeffler will follow Duva to ESPN.


                    I don't know what GBP will do. Haymon-affiliated Showtime and FOX aren't happening and it's hard to see Oscar swallowing his pride and going to ESPN or DAZN, especially when he has the most popular fighter in the sport. The problem for Oscar is that after Canelo, he doesn't have much. Munguia has potential, but he's got a long way to go. Lemieux and Linares are names, but are perpetual losers. And that's it.
