Sims jr is a good young prospect who I expect to make some noise in 2019. He has speed and power.

Only saw his last fight on the Matchroom card. Didn't look to be anything special, but he was coming off a long lay off.

Quick boxrec search, and out of his 15 opponents, only two have had winning records. One fighter who was 10-9 and another that was 5-4. What the hell? That is terrible.

              LOL, exactly

Sims Jr, the 3 American amatuers, and this Mexican Pacheco chap, probably Yeleussinov aswell, are the real Matchroom USA fighters. Bet theyre locked down for more than the 2-3 fight deals. Rest are all to get a foothold, ****ing Chavez Jr. Interested in how these other guys work out, getting together a few good pick ups now.

Hearn needs to sign these youngsters and build them into marquee names. This has to be his strategy now. Don't know much about the top Mexican amateur he signed, but he seems to be a good one.

Yeleussinov may just be a great amateur that doesn't translate well to the pros, but time will tell there.

I'm still not sure why he hasn't thrown the BAG at guys like Haney/Ennis. Sure Haney has his own promotional company and Ennis is with a small promoter, but Hearn needs to go after those guys hard. They are the young studs with potential to do big things. Signing guys like Sims Jr is good and all, but doubt they end up becoming stars or close to stars.

Been thinking what Hearn could likely get out of this HBO thing. Suspect Bivol is a lock now, Smith Jr on his New York card, then Beterbiev unification. Also Jamie McDonnell supposed to be on his Vegas card, vs Rey Vargas? Seems like hes going Mexican on that card. Couple of fight deal with Vargas, Roman unification.

Bivol is a must get for him as he already has Beterbiev.

Aside from that there isn't much there at HBO to get. I mean you have GBP fighters but they aren't available.

                    That's why I mentioned Haney/Ennis in particular.
