Comments Thread For: Danny Garcia: Porter Loss Was Tough, I Have A lot of Fight Left!

Former two division world champion Danny Garcia (34-2, 20 KOs) is very motivated to rebound, after suffering defeats in two of his last three fights. Garcia lost a twelve round split decision, and his WBC welterweight title, when he fought Keith Thurman in March 2017 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

Now that the emotions have calmed down, sounds like he's ready to continue to toss the leather. 147 is strong and D Garcia needs to stay in the thick of it.

That's good to hear. There have been tactical mistakes, but he's still a threat to everyone.

He needs 25% more volume in his offense and might not have lost 2 fights. Also a sense of desperation to go all out when fights are close. It’s a mentality

As was said here, Garcia needs to do more in fights, throw more punches. He is very competitive for a boxer of his limited talent, and has squeezed a lot out of it. Floyd got away with throwing few punches because he is more accurate, and didn't get hit much.

Yeah Danny started thinking he was the king of Barclay's or something and perhaps thought they would favor him in close round fights like they do Floyd and Canelo in Vegas but them guys bringing in a whole different type of money and have been for years Garcia need to realize he's not on that level he actually need to show some urgency and grit he simply being outworked

                Garcia needs to stay busy.

Ring rust affected him against Porter.

Danny Garcia should jump into the Manny Pacquiao sweepstakes! Also, if any PBC WW should "cross-the-street," to fight on ESPN, it should be DSG! It can't hurt to see what Arum would offer for Crawford vs. Garcia! TR doesn't have an opponent like DSG in their stable for Crawford! Fighting Crawford should be better ($$$$$) than fighting Ugas, Berto, or Jamal James! Last, but not least, DSG vs. Broner at the Barclay's! That's asses in seats without question!
