Fair play man. I had the first one a draw. The second one GGG again started slow, easy for most fans to think GGG was winning because he was making a rally in the end, but they forgot canelo already made a good lead in the start.

The 12th round was the factor, and Canelo just closed the show better. Otherwise it would’ve been a draw.

Doesn't change me feeling terrible for the dude as I do think he got short changed twice.

Could he have done things different in this fight and in his career? ABSOLUTELY

Despite my conflicts with many GG fans, and my picking against him twice, I do think GG should have 2 W's over Canelo.

GG had guys duck him, had management that make shytty matches, had a trainer that embarrassed him in the media.
And, the 2 legacy defining fights that should have sent him out on a high note really reek of BS.

I'm not going to be militant about it. If you scored Canelo winning, fair enough. The fights can be debated. But, personally I don't feel good about any of it.

Whatever GG does from here on out, all the best to him.

He did it to himself. After the first fight he should have known he'd never get a close decision. Waiting until round 8 to start pouring it on was just too late. He won 115-113 IMO but you'll never get a decision against Alvarez unless you blow him out like Floyd did and even then there was a joke card.

I kinda feel bad for GGG but then I think about why he let it get to that.

GGG was supposed to be this monster unbeatable Lancelot type. He was supposed to expose Canelo for the fraud that he was. Turns out that in 24 rounds he couldn't knock Canelo down. I mean wtf it makes you wonder if GGG was truly the monster everyone says he was

Does he have to knock him out to win? He beat him in most people 's eyes twice now. You cannot fault him for not looking as destructive as most fights, this was clearly a step up in competition, and Canelo has a great ****ing chin. Even then he hurt him pretty bad in the late rounds. It was a close fight but the sad of it is that Golovkin never had a chance to beat Canelo outside of knockout. Golovkin was fighting against more than just his opponent in a way. Sadly this is the case in boxing way too often.

Yup he wasn’t really able to showcase his prime beast mode version. He fights nothing like when he was 28-30.

He won the first fight clearly and lost a close toss up fight the next time. Sucks for him as he hasnt gotten satisfaction when he deserved it and the ball is in Cabelo's court for a 3rd fught, which by then GGG is like 38.
