Comments Thread For: Abel Sanchez Doesn't Think Knee, Long Layoff Will Affect Canelo

LAS VEGAS Abel Sanchez doesn't expect inactivity or his surgically repaired right knee to adversely affect Canelo Alvarez on Saturday night. Gennady Golovkin's trainer figures Alvarez will be just as mobile and sharp in their rematch as he was when they fought last September 16 at T-Mobile Arena. The 28-year-old Alvarez hasn't fought since he and Golovkin battled to a dubious draw nearly a year ago.

      Hurt cartliage lol?

Looks like he tore his outer meniscus which is super common. I hate to say it, but it probably won't effect his performance.

He didn't tear the inner meniscus because a repair procedure is 6 months out with most if it with a special brace where your knee is bent. If he had that there would be pics of the weird brace.

I CANT WAIT FOR THIS FIGHT! I’m having a fight party at the home. I haven’t been this excited since Leonard vs Hagler who were 31 & 33 years old respectively. I was a HS senior, 17 years old. There have been other fights I was amped up to watch, BUT not like this one. If all undercard fights go the distance, around 11 pm for the Canelo/GGG. Hopefully sooner, CANT WAIT!

Just so I can work out what that will be in my time? As I've ordered on BT Box Office and set it on record so if I dont make it I'll watch first thing i wake up! If you could help thank you.
