Comments Thread For: Froch: Khan's Win Lackluster, Not Enough To Beat Best at 147

Former super middleweight champion and Sky Sports pundit, Carl Froch, was far from impressed with the recent victory by Amir Khan, who this past Saturday night survived a knockdown to claim a twelve round unanimous decision victory over Samuel Vargas in Birmingham. Khan was put on the canvas at the end of the second round, with a big overhand right, when he appeared to be in complete control.

Tell these idiots here the truth Froch. Khan was an embarrassment and should forget about the top Welterweights before he gets seriously hurt. Over rated bum!

Obviously Amir is not beating a prime P4P #1. Terence Crawford, but dont tell me that Amir Khan cant beat a 'Runtime' Keith Thurman, the Billy-goat Shawn Porter.

That there is two champions that are tailored made for Khan, Spence is tough and DSG will not be fighting Amir Khan anytime soon ; that leaves Pacquiao, another winnable fight considering that KO of Lucas Maquitsyee was an obvious dive. So when you take away that KO and come to understand Khan vs. Pacquiao likely goes the distance... well, If Timothy Bradley got a decision as out-classed as he was over Manny, why cant Amir Khan get the better of a older Pacquiao?

That's why he's begging for the pacquiao cash out. He won't win that one, cant beat the tops and sure as hell wouldn't want to ever lose to Brook so he will fight Jesse Vargas next.

Carl is spot on .How could anyone see things differently after watching him struggle to the end with a guy who like Carl said gets hammered/has been hammered by the top boys.

Khan doesn't deserve a big money fight after this shyte .You would have to be a complete nut job to see it any other way.

Amir Khan is finished .....I was amazed just how bad he looked...kids gonna get hurt!

Khan looked terrible and almost got knocked out by Samuel Vargas. Khan can't beat nobody in the top 10.
