Comments Thread For: Spence: I'm Way Better Fighter Than Crawford; Who Has He Fought?

By Keith Idec - NEW YORK Errol Spence Jr. respects Terence Crawford. The unbeaten IBF welterweight champion admits the undefeated Crawford is "a great fighter" whose skills and style he appreciates. Spence simply thinks he is better. That said, Spence emphasized early Sunday morning that their much-anticipated welterweight title fight is nowhere near close to taking place...

Spence was talking rubbish claiming he has a better resume that Crawford. He said his best name was Kell Brook.

From what I recall, Spence was trashing Brook's resume before they fought. I recall him saying the best mark on his resume is "going 4 goods rounds with GGG". Now all of a sudden, he thinks has a good resume because he beat a post GGG Brook. This guy is whack.

Anyway, I think Crawford schools Spence. He is a much better boxer. I don't think Bud can be bullied around at 147, he is a mean man. Still not convinced that Spence would beat Thurman either.

    Bud will shame Spence.
Spence won’t be able to pin Crawford in.
As great as Spence can be, we haven’t seen him have to fight in a different gear

Brook is better than anyone on Crawfords resume, and I still think he is #1 P4P. Spence is levels above the best guy he faced. If the fight ends early I favor Spence.

At welterweight Crawford fought Jeff Horn... a guy mostly known for fouling his way to a gift over Pacquiao. Now Crawford is fighting Benevidez lol. The supposed top p4p fighter going the bum of the month route at welterweight. But he's getting paid doe. ESPN and Top Rank have nobody relevant at welterweight but Crawford extends his contract and name drops PBC guys while ligned up to fight a bum lol. Same old Top Prank garbage on recycle.

As a whole, Crawford has a resume of dog **** for a supposed top p4p fighter. B class and lower trinket holders(mostly World Bob Organization belts), faded former champs, and bums. Crowning him p4p #1 and the top welterweight with beating the above is why I call him a hype job. The last top class fighter he fought buzzed him... and that was inactive and blown up Gamboa with a huge size disadvantage that buzzed him lol. He hasn't fought anyone decent since or been hit. The top welterweights will hit that chin. Lucky he extended that Top Rank contract or we might actually have found out if he was worth the unjustified hype.

And Spence beats the **** out of Crawford after Crawford runs for a few rounds. Still not convinced Crawford beats Amir Khan before even thinking he could compete with Danny Garcia, Shawn Porter or Keith Thurman. Hell Berto would be a step up for Crawford.

Can Haymon guarantee him 3+ mill a fight no matter the opponent 3-4 times a year in writing?
