It could've reasonably been just 7-5 either way or a draw. Either way, Danny didn't lose much clout in the division and we all know it's coming down to Spence vs Crawford anyway. So let's get Spence vs porter and garcia vs Crawford as the build up to the only ppv in boxing that is clearly between the top 2 fighters in the division.

I watched the fight by myself and without the Showtime commentary, and I scored it 8-4 for Danny, but thought I could also see 7-5 as a possibility. But this is boxing, so literally any scorecard is possible. I have no preference at all between these two fighters, I just felt that Danny was more accurate and effective. There isn't a more frustrating sport in the world.

What fight were you watching, Garcia didn't land much all fight, how you going to score him winning the fight when he barely threw a punch.

Can't be about Spence and Crawford yet especially with Crawford being locked into TR. I don't see that fight happening. Haymon has the three other guys which is a lot easier to make fights between them. Crawford due to being on Top Rank is the odd man out.

Because it’s a twelve round fight. Most of Garcia’s work happened in the same round. If he was active every round he wins easy. Still think it was close but no outrage to say Porter won.

I would disagree with most of Garcia’a activity happened in the same round. I think Porter just threw more punches in most of the rounds throughout the fight that swayed the judges perception. The judges may count punches, but they also take into consideration aggression, control of the ring, control of the tempo of the fight and damage inflicted. Porter was more agressive, controlled the ring, and controlled the tempo thus swayed the judges.

Good fight. Close, but the judges got it right. Cards were generally fine. I knew if Danny didn’t land something big in the second half, Shawn, with that “Energizer Bunny” style, would win the decision. Now Spence hands Porter his ass.

Close fight...I thought Porter would have been much more aggressive from the start. It could have been called a draw. I'd have Porter ahead by the slimmest of margins at best. Porter has no chance against Errol Spence Jr...it would be like those 1st few rounds tonight times two for 12 rounds straight or how ever long the fight lasted.
