Damn, these judges don't know how to score except one. Donnie Nietes won that clearly.

8-4 for palicte?! that judge is blind. this will happen until we get some 5 year and lifetime suspensions for bad judging.

They don't appreciate the technicality of Donnie Nietes

other than floyd, any other technical boxers out there are once in a while ripped off in their scorecards.

perhaps the booing mexican crowd who prefers sluggers over technical boxers dissuade the judges

The mexican crowd in the arena just wants to get to the main event. By the way what were their reaction in ioka-arroyo?

"Meh" but I think they liked fight between Ioka and Arroyo since there's more or less brawls throughout the rounds.

These Filipino vs Filipino fights should stop though. They're usually a snoozer and too technical. There's a reason why there hasn't been a world championship bout between Filipinos for 93 years!!

Even that Pancho Villa vs Cleaver Sencio was a snoozer.
And after 93 years it repeated itself with Nietes vs Palicte and Ancajas vs Sultan.

I respect Nietes and Ancajas. They're technical and good. But against Filipinos they underperform.

Filipino vs Filipino fights are not tailor made for Spanish speajer viewers. A testament to that is the fights they've made here in california. Boos from the hispanic crowds

Filipino vs Mexican fights are by far the best. Nietes vs Estrada or Ancajas vs Estrada would be bomb tho
