WBA want to be paid a lot I reckon. Marketing the Usyk / Bellew fight as a 4 belt unification is a big selling point, so WBA definitely want theirs... they'll try and bleed as much as they can or they'll take the belt away

Now it all becomes clear. Hearn never planned to do Usyk-Bellew this year. Those rumors about how Bellew needed until 2019 to get back down to cruiserweight make sense now. Hearn was just pretending in order to start the hype early and make it sell more in 2019 when it finally happens. Annoying move.

Of course, if I'm wrong, with all the money this fight will make in the U.K, both Usyk and Bellew's sides can get together, take 250k from each of their purses, and shoot Lebedev $500k to wait 4-5 months, which I'm sure he'd be willing to do given that he has a fight on Sept. 7th anyway.

****** move by the WBA. They should mandate Lebedev to face Shumenov or Goulamirian instead.

Unless you believe that Hearn told the WBA to mandate the Lebedev fight then that makes no sense.

Lebedev’s promoter is the no step aside fee type.

Remember the only reason he still has the title is because his promoter petitioned to the WBA ( and they approved it SMDH) that only the IBF was on the line so his title is as paper as you get.
