Comments Thread For: Chocolatito Was 'Very Close' To Retiring After Knockout Loss

There was a trying time following his brutal knockout loss to Srisaket Sor Rungvisai that Roman "Chocolatito" Gonzalez wanted to retire. Eventually, though, the former four-division champion regained the desire to resume his Hall-of-Fame career. The 31-year-old Gonzalez (46-2, 38 KOs) will fight for the first time in more than a year when he meets Mexico's Moises Fuentes (25-5-1, 14 KOs) on the Canelo Alvarez-Gennady Golovkin undercard September 15 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

I bet he was. He got hosed on the first Sor fight and then in the rematch Sor ended up knocking his soul out of his body for no reason at all

$84.99 for HD? Are these people crazy???? Who the hell is buying this fight ? That's a phone bill. That is basically what I pay for my cable bill with three TV boxes. Boxing is getting to expensive to be a poor man's sport. People will keep buying it. I don't wanna see the price for AJ vs Wilder. I really dont.

What people don't know is that everyone in Mexico watches these PPV fights for free and HD.
We get more ads in between rounds, but nothing beats free.

He should have. I looked at him before the 2nd fight against Sor Rungvisai and I said he had that Muhammad Ali "swollen head" look and he looked like he wasn't all there behind the eyes, just like Ali had at the end of his career.

I will not be watching this
