  • Comments Thread For: Munguia Expects Canelo to Beat Golovkin; Wants Canelo Next Year

Jaime Munguia might be a little biased. Not only is he Mexican, but the WBO junior middleweight champion realizes that a potential fight against Canelo Alvarez would be more lucrative than a bout with Gennady Golovkin. Regardless, Munguia predicted Alvarez will defeat Golovkin in their middleweight championship rematch September 15 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

Munguia should have to establish himself at Middleweight first. There are enough good fights at Middleweight for Canelo as is.

I don't see Munguia causing Canelo any problems at all. He can want next year all he wants, but we would get dominated by Canelo.
