Comments Thread For: Lennox Lewis: Wilder-Fury is Way Bigger Than Joshua-Povetkin

Lennox Lewis believes the coming fight between Deontay Wilder and Tyson Fury will trump Anthony Joshua's with Alexander Povetkin. The one-time undisputed heavyweight champion has also dismissed suggestions that Fury is taking too big a risk against the heavy-handed Wilder, even though he considers his relationship with new trainer Ben Davison to be a "work in progress".

Problem is, it should be bigger. But AJ-Povetkin ill do more views/buys.

Wilder really needs a good promoter behind him.

We will see which fight is ‘bigger’

If your after two clowns taking sheet in the build up fury wilder is for you. Fury has looked pony in his two comeback fights but is hyped to no end because wilder has chose to fight him next

Then You have daftys on here acting like povetkin is gonna be a push over .... povetkin is a Genuine contender and has been for years . You didn’t see povetkin go on a two year coke binge and fight two Avon sales men

Numbers don’t lie ... let’s see how they add up after both fights

If it’s ppv in the U.K. then it will be close as the time makes it a hard sell but if not I wouldn’t be surprised if wilder vs fury does do more worldwide.

I guess everybody is falling on trash talk. Let's be honest. Today's Furry is fooked up, physically and mentally. DW vs Fury is as a mismatch.

BIG UP LENNOX! Of course it's a bigger fight, because it's two bigger personalities! It's a bigger event! Comparing Wilder vs. Fury to Joshua vs. Povetkin, is like comparing Mayweather vs. McGregor to Canelo vs. GGG!

Doubt that in the US wilder does more views than Joshua and now his name is out in the UK as well and fury is pretty known.. Joshua will not win the views battle in this one.
