  • Comments Thread For: Hearn: Joshua Would Like Wilder, But No Interest in Time Waster

Eddie Hearn, promoter for IBF, WBA, WBO, IBO heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua (21-0, 20 KOs), says his boxer wants a unification with WBC champion Deontay Wilder (40-0, 39 KOs) - but they don't believe Wilder wants the fight. Hearn stated in a recent interview that Dillian Whyte is the frontrunner to face Joshua on April 13, at Wembley in London.

The one who turned down his career high payday of 50 million guarantee is a clear indication of who is wasting who's time. That slave deal was agreed upon for this September by team Wilder.. not april next year u pathetic dung beetle! Ur offer is whack.. ur champion is a world vacant paper champion.. nothing more.. and he's afraid. We offered fury 50/50 because we are fair. Not this bs 12.5m flat fee.. but we are suppose to believe hearns has a billion dollars? Lmao.. remember AJ man fans.. the money isn't real its a publicity stunt, AJ can ko Wilder in 3rds? parker is a tougher fight than Wilder.. no one knows Wilder.. Wimbley is not available in September. AJ needs more than a 8 week training camp for Wilder.. AJ man fans need to go train an fight Wilder yourself because AJ is not selling his soul for 80m plus and he built this in england an wants to do it for his fans.. wtf? Yes AJ the devil is in the details and his name is "The Bronze Bomber! " tell the U.K fans whatever you want..But the rest of the World knows whats going on.. even your own countrymen.. fury, lennox, hatton, etc..

As Hearn/AJ said in an interview a few weeks ago, they've got till mid January to get the Wilder/AJ fight signed.

While it would nice to get it agreed now so that they can focus on it immediately after the Fury & Povetkin bouts (provided they come through those) I can see no harm in waiting until they have both fought.

The only sticking point in making this fight is the financial split, which if Wilder wins (not a question of 'if' because he will) then he will have more of a claim to a 50/50 financial split. - I don't think Hearn will give him 50% and I personally agree with that BUT I do believe he should be getting 40% - 45% not a flat fee.

The problem is that Wilder already wants 50% and when he beats Fury he will stay firm on that and I don't think Hearn/AJ will entertain that idea which is a shame because ultimately it is boxing fans that miss out. They both make millions going forward regardless of whether or not they fight each other.

As AJ said 'the financial pie is big enough for everyone to make plenty of money' so he should concede and accept 50/50... Whoever wins will be able to demand a bigger split in the rematch which would make it 100% fair.

Thoughts people? - Without arguing/insults, lets try and keep it boxing and unbiased?

It took Tyson Fury a couple months to get in shape and a few weeks to reach a agreement with Deontay 'Bronze-Bomber' Wilder ; Eddie Hearns and Joshua have been pushing this fight waaay-back since 2016 when A.J made his first defense of the IBF against Dominc Breazeale! F**K-OFF CLOWN!!!

If it’s not clear of the obvious avoidance team Joshua has for wilder then I don’t know what else to say

this is the groundwork designed to ensure that Joshua fights someone not named Wilder in April

                  this is EXACTLY like Mayweather/Pacquiao

that fight will happen when the Manny-cow..... ooops, I mean..... the Joshua-cow..... is milked dry

can't have anything upsetting the apple-cart now, can we ?
