Comments Thread For: Daniel Jacobs: Derevyanchenko Fight Will Be An Exciting War

NEW YORK Familiarity breeds complacency sometimes. Daniel Jacobs is certain that won't at all be the case when he encounters frequent sparring partner Sergiy Derevyanchenko on October 27. Yessir!! Should be a great fight. The winner should fight Charlo. We need to see Jermall step up at 160 and stop fighting bums like Heiland and Centeno.

Let's hope it's real war, not like GGG vs Clenelo.

They're gym mates with the same trainer, one of them should have stepped sideways and went for another one of the titles - Saunders or Charlo - although I understand that's a hard call to make

2 times he fought for the major titles 2 times he lost, has never became a world champ, wont be any different, Jacobs will turn to a reach gatekeeper

Don't hold your breath on that. Charlo isn't interested in good opponents.

Winner vs. Andrade-Saunders winner is the way to go.
