  • Comments Thread For: Sanchez: Canelo, Team Trying to Sweep Failed Tests Under Rug

It's not just that Canelo Alvarez twice tested positive for clenbuterol, according to Abel Sanchez. Gennady Golovkin's trainer says he and Golovkin also are bothered by what he considers a continuous attempt by Alvarez and his handlers to make it as if the Mexican icon's performance-enhancing drug ordeal never happened. Sanchez doesn't think they've accepted any real responsibility for what occurred and that's why there has been so much harsh criticism from Golovkin's side since Alvarez's two positive tests in February led to his six-month suspension and the cancelation of their rematch May 5.

team canelo have got away with it. and the saddest thing of all is that theres still many many people cheering on canelo. it appears golovkin is still the bad guy of the match up because his trainer is outspoken. its not just the organisations who dont give a **** about failed drugs test, the fans dont seem to either.

In Mexico it's the norm to have tainted meat, it makes the steak taste better apparently.

Exactly what is Team Alvarez supposed to do? Are they supposed to act guilty and constantly thank GGG for giving them another chance. Sanchez is the Casual Whisperer. He says only things casuals are thinking and gets them worked up. Maybe they need to believe that Alvarez was on something during the first fight and that's why he was able to hang with GGG. Maybe he keeps thinking he can get Alvarez to fight out of character in hopes of getting a KO. Either way, if he ran training camps as much as he runs his mouth, he'd have other world champs in his stable. Maybe Gassiev wins.

No one gives a ***** what Team Alvarez does. As long as Canelo shows up to the fight on the 15th clean, all is well.
