Comments Thread For: Haye Details Wilder's Deadly Power, Praises Fury For Stepping Up

Former two division world champion David Haye has given his take for the upcoming clash between Deontay Wilder and Tyson Fury. Haye was at one time scheduled to fight Fury on two separate dates, a few years ago, and withdrew from both bouts with injuries. And ironically for one of those contests, Haye had used Wilder as one of his main sparring partners.

I have never made it a secret that I dislike the Fury's but we as boxing fans have got to give him credit for taking this fight.

Aren't the final details in regards to date/venue being announced this week?

Wilder wins by KO in my humble opinion.

Fury does deserve big respect for stepping up and he's getting it to be fair . No one is dogging fury for taking the fight . hopefully he's taking it for the right reasons and not a cash grab

Might be a bit soon back for him but only he will know that for sure

hopefully he comes in 12 round shape and we get to see a decent scrap

Yeah, agreed. Respect to Fury for stepping up after 2 comeback tickle fights.
Even though I am an AJ fan, I want to see this fight badly.

Fury likes a challenge so bring it on. I’m surprised haye didn’t get koed in sparring.
The fact that wilder has koed 39 people doesn’t make me fear wilders punching power as they were all Chinny you could claim.
I’d need to see wilder destroy a heavy bag, show off on it like mike Tyson did with a microphone near so you can hear impact.. Tyson koing everyone didn’t make me think he hit hard it just looked like everyone took a div from phantom punches

Just as long as it's not too round a shape!

But yeah, good post and I agree with everything you've said.

Yeah that’s the highest compliment coming from another big puncher.

Haye is acknowledging Wilder hits harder than himself.

Props the Fury for stepping up.

Looking forward to this one. A part of me isn't as confident as I was with Wilder winning.
