Comments Thread For: Danny Garcia: I Just Feel Like Thurman's Not Hungry Anymore

Danny Garcia and Shawn Porter both want a rematch with Keith Thurman. He is the natural next opponent for the winner of their September 8 bout for the WBC welterweight title Thurman gave up late in April. Garcia isn't sure, however, if Thurman still possesses the desire that made him an elite fighter.

I wonder what Thurman is weighing right now? It might be hard for him to ever get back to 147! See Kell Brook! Maybe Thurman should come back at 154? Maybe Thurman should fight Kell Brook?

Good point! But I suspect he is done. He has been too inactive. Great shame for the fans but I hope K.T is having a blast and enjoying his life.

Garcia will beat Porter. He provides the best test for Spence cause he has a monster chin.

It doesn't seem like Thurman has that drive anymore. It's a shame, I like Keith

The second I saw Thurman in an interview all head over heels with some foreign chic and saying how he got married to her so quickly after barely knowing her, I know that the guy who once yelled out "stop ducking me son!" ceased to exist.

Since when does being injured translate to loss of hunger..?

Still trying to figure that out.

" A win over Danny Garcia is probably one of the biggest wins you could get in boxing. You know, he got that, he unified the division. I think he reached heights in his career that he always wanted to reach."

                Is it?
It seems like a good question to debate: belts aside, what is a win over Danny Garcia worth in 2018?

garcia is still yet to beat a top 10 welterweight but for some reason he's highly regarded still
